We loved the DeLonghi F26237 which we took a look at recently; it’s one of the best deep fryers around. Today we’re going to cast our critical eye over one of their cheaper models: the F26215.
At first glance, the F26215 looks remarkably similar to the F26237. Indeed, the machine is almost identical. We’d encourage you take a look at our review of the more expensive model, as we’ll just be covering the differences here.
So what are the differences?
The main difference is in the price. This model is almost £20 cheaper, making it quite the bargain! So what features do you miss out on because of the cheaper price?
The only difference with this fryer, is that it doesn’t have the Total Clean technology built-in. This means that the bowl is fixed, and the basket isn’t dishwasher safe. Both of these need to cleaning by hand. The lid, however, can removed and put in the dishwasher, so it’s not all bad news.
We found that most deep fat fryers were cheapest at Amazon.co.uk, including the De’Longhi F26215 which is currently available for [getpercent] off.

Customer Feedback and Reviews
Since this machine is pretty much the same as the excellent F26237 which we found that customers loved, we expected to find a similar level of satisfaction. We weren’t wrong! 97% of customers were happy with their fryer, and would recommend it.
As we expected, this machine cooks really well. People raved about the crispy, golden chips that it makes, and it cooks fish and other foods well too. One customer said that it “fries chips to perfection”. One thing to be aware of, is that it does cook a bit quicker than the timings in the manual.
Basically, all the great things that people loved about the more expensive model apply here. Of course, without the Total Clean system it’s a bit more of a hassle to clean. Particularly missed is the spout for draining the oil. However customers reported that its not too much of chore. At least the lid can go in the dishwasher!
The F26215 is another great fryer from De’Longhi. Personally, we still think the F26237 is better – it’s Total Clean system is something that’s hard to do without once you know how good it is! However, if you’re not bothered about making a little extra effort to clean your fryer, then you might want to try out this cheaper model and save yourself almost £20. It does a wonderful job of cooking chips, and we’re sure you won’t be disappointed!
